not a moderate

i always thought i was a moderate. i'm not sure though....

i tend to do certain things in extremes. this, in itself, is a perfect example. it's 1.54am and i'm still blogging (n i need to go to work tmr). n this is my 5th/6th consecutive post. n then for the past few days, i've been trying to do some rendering in ink. it takes a lot of patience to do art. on the surface, it seems kindof simple but it requires hours and hours of observation and perfection to master the technique and even more to create a unique style. so i slept at 2 sth am one day to finish a piece and woke up at 6sth and 7sth while working on another (it's the hols rite now ><) so far, i'm barely succeeding. even though i'm just copying some artists' sketches from a library book. (technically speaking, those weren't sketches....not done in quicktime) yup, if i'm ever going to improve, i need to be more passionate about it, have more patience, and persevere in getting it right. i don't know if i'll ever get it though, coz i'm not even trying hard enough><

(this is going to be a random post. i don't really like my writing style now. it's so disjointed and unrefined.)

today, i didn't do art. i felt so bored at work. Of course I should be thankful that i even got a job (grace a ma tante). it's great to earn a little bit of cash to reimburse my shopping. (not that much actually). i walked at the creek today. Newtonbrook Creek, a lovely creek near (somewhat) my appartment. It was strange coz today was a hot day (singapore hot) and i didn't have my hat nor my sunglasses with me, and I walked home from my aunt's (near Leslie and Finch Sq) to my house( near bayview village) I guess i was just too bored of sitting down in my aunt's basement, typing figures that i can't comprehend. so i stopped work at 3.30 and walked....

there were lots of mosquitoes and ants at the creek. i have no idea why there'll be so many ants living there. no, actually i does make sense, but still....the creek is quite lovely.

the quiet running waters, the gravelly path, the white origami-like flowers.

canada's a great place to enjoy nature=D

i got home at 5. i'm looking forward to driving lessons now. Driving is so fun=D fun coz i don't have to watch out for other cars (since they'll prob try to avoid cars like mine with the P plate)

that was fake. the 1.54 am above. started out at 1.33am. i changed it maybe 3 times. (i love the number 3!) it's now 1.58am. my post is getting a little annoying. i'm not always so crazy. yup, i think i need rest.
