I was really annoyed by this remark. It came out so randomly out of the air.
Yet when i calmed down and thought through these words, it occured to me that what she said was indeed true.
Whenever she wants to borrow something from me, i'll be so reluctant to lend it to her. Conversely, when she buys something nice, i'm always the first to put my hands on it.
Isn't it the same with God? There are so many times when serving God, reading God's word, or just talking to him takes just a tiny effort and a fraction of our time- which, in any case, isn't even our time-and still i'm so unwilling to spare that.
I should always remember the goodness and generosity that has been showered on me.
