After two years of being in the program, I am finally asking this question. What is planning? Actually it has been off and on my mind during the summer. I witnessed some rather negative consequences of planning actions that caused me to question this profession that I am undertaking. I have yet to synthesize and answer, but I have a feeling it would be two very different answers. An idealistic one and what we see on the ground. Whether I choose to/have the chance to pursue the former would be another question.
